Limited Edition Arkoi Pine Honey with Chios Mastic comes from a small Greek island of Aegean Sea: Arkoi island, known for its crystal blue waters and the beekeeping tradition.
It’s created combining two of Greece’s natural treasures; raw pine honey, created when bees ingest the sugary honeydew left behind by insects feed on pine tree sap, mixed with mastic resin gathered from mastic trees (Pistacia lentiscus) only found in Chios Island in the Eastern Aegean Sea.
The result is a rich honey with a wide range of health benefits, strong antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

TASTING NOTES
It has robust, yet pleasant flavor with slightly cedar-like and pine notes, the mastic’s bitterness and freshness enhancing the sweetness of honey.
